Purpose

Performs accounting and financial controlling functions for BlockchainSpace group.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages full set of accounts for allocated entities within BlockchainSpace, including statutory reporting and management reporting
• Prepares and publishes timely monthly financial report
• Performs budgetary control and reports variances
• Monitors receivables and payables
• Prepare crypto reconciliation and intercompany reconciliation
• Manages payments and cash flow report
• Coordinating with various departments to ensure proper process is followed
• Checking and routing of legal documents for signatures online
• Manages the agreements in the legal folder and updates the agreement list
• Manages corporate and withholding tax compliances and works with external service providers
• Manages governmental statistical reports
• Ensure compliance with the FRS and regulatory requirements as well as adherence to the company policies and procedures
• Manages the accounts reporting of acquired firms
• Any other tasks allocated by the CFO or Head of Finance

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, ACCA, Finance or related field
• At least 3 - 5 years of proven working experience in accounting
• Experience in Xero accounting software
• Either a Singapore citizen, PR or holding an EP in Singapore
• Relevant experience in blockchain / crypto industry or start-up environment would be highly regarded but not required
• Experience in working with people from different countries is preferred
• Able to manage the tasks independently and comfortable with remote working environment
• Taking initiative is a pre-requisite and strong sense of urgency
• Strong analytical skills and systematic with strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Culturally sensitive and positive working attitude
• Possess a high degree of personal integrity
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)
